Visual Arts

The Visual Arts Program provides students many opportunities to express themselves creatively through a wide variety of media including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, and sculpting. The curriculum explores the elements of art, and helps students develop an understanding of the principles of design.  The program encourages an appreciation for people, cultures, and the arts as a reflection of God's glory.

The CCA Visual Arts Program:

  • contains over 50 National Arts Honor Society students each year, which serve the school and the community
  • prepares high school students for furthering their art education, many of whom are accepted to SCAD and other high-quality college art programs like UNF and Flagler
  • offers high school students semester classes in ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, and more
  • offers middle school students daily, year-long elective classes
  • offers lower school students weekly art classes
