CCA Spring Signing Day 2018

Christ's Church Academy is proud to share that three students have signed their letters of intent to participate in collegiate sports after their success on the fields of CCA.

Madi Davenport has signed to play soccer at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL.  Madi began her CCA Soccer career in 6th grade, and has since been named Best Attacking Player (9th grade), Most Valuable Player (10th grade), scored 40 goals this season and tied for Most Points in the district this year.  Over the course of her varsity career, she has scored 150 goals.

Josh Dennie has signed to play football at Evangel University in Springfield, MO.  While at CCA, Josh earned SSAC Honorable Mention at Wide Receiver and the CCA Christ/Character/Class Award.  In 2016, he was named SSAC 1st Team Defensive Back, SSAC Honorable Mention Wide Receiver, and All-State Defensive Back.  In 2017, Josh was named as SSAC 1st Team Safety, SSAC Honorable Mention Wide Receiver, was awarded the CCA Christ/Character/Class Award, selected to the NFCCA East All-Star Team, and served as CCA team captain.

Matt Stone has signed to play football at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN.  Matt began his CCA football career in 6th grade, and moved to varsity at 8th grade.  He was named as an SSAC All-Conference Defensive Lineman in 2015, 2016, and 2017, and was also named as an SSAC All-State Defensive Lineman in 2016 and 2017.  Matt also served as a CCA team captain.

We would like to again congratulate Madi, Josh, and Matt on these accomplishments, and are praying that they will continue to honor and glorify God both on and off the college playing field and throughout the rest of their lives.  Way to go!
