GENERAL: NJHS Community Service

Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Forste, NJHS sponsors, feel blessed to have helped students serve our school and community with a variety of events.

--Our most successful event was the brain-child of NJHS President Bradley Kasper. With his parents’ help, NJHS was able to collect and donate 2,765 pairs of socks to the City Rescue Mission.

--NJHS provided free movie nights that offered a safe, comfortable and familiar environment for our students and parents to relax. This year Elf and Soul Surfer were shown.

--Our free car washes were another popular NJHS tradition. Serving others is fun!

To our officers: you have all been a blessing to our organization this year; thank you for your service! (In order left to right) Secretary: Sarah Downing, Historian: Noelle Frantz, Vice President: Faith Gottal, President: Bradley Kasper, Treasurer: Sienna Thomas.

GENERAL: Used Uniform Update

Mark your calendars!

Mark your calendars for the Used Uniform Sale at Beat the Rush, Sunday, August 18, from 1-3 p.m.; at Orientation on Monday, August 19; and before and after school August 20-22.  As a reminder, the Mandarin Christian logos are allowed for one more year.  After the 2013/2014 school year, all old logos will be retired.  However, we are very excited to announce that we have found a new home for them in Kenya!  We have been in contact with a Christian school there that would love to receive our former uniforms, so please do not get rid of them!  We will continue collections throughout this year and next, and will keep you posted on the details of the Kenya collections after our fall sales are completed.  See you at Beat the Rush!

GENERAL: Don't forget to take your medicine!

Pick up by May 24

Parents, please remember to pick up by May 24 any medication your student may have in the clinic. Medication cannot be kept in the clinic over the summer.  Medication not picked up will be discarded.
