Krista Rogers, co-Valedictorian of CCA's 2013 graduating class, has just received a $10,000 National President's Scholarship from the American Business Women's Association. She was selected from a pool of over 100 applicants from across the country.
“I am still amazed to be chosen for this prestigious scholarship. I consider this gift to be the highest honor and the most tremendous blessing. God is so faithful and I am beyond grateful for His provision,” said Krista.
To qualify for the scholarship, the recipient must be pursuing a higher education degree in the field of business, be at least a junior in college, and have consistently maintained a 3.0 or higher GPA. The award is open to young women across the United States. Only one National President’s Scholarship is awarded each year.
“Krista Rogers is an amazing young leader, talented, very humble and very much adored by our chapter," said Jessica Correll, Lakeland Downtown ABWA president. "She always has a smile on her face and is willing to help with any duty that is needed of her. This recognition is very well-deserved and we are honored to have her as part of our chapter.”
Krista will be continuing her dedication to the organization; she will soon begin service on the chapter’s board. She is also currently enrolled in Southeastern University's MBA Program.
