Christ-Centered Educational Excellence

CCA Families:

There are many things we can't control. No need to name them here but I’m sure you have a running list.

I imagine we all have an increased sense of uncertainty since this is uncharted territory. God’s word teaches us many truths and one of those truths is how to deal with fear and worry. I’m writing this letter after just returning from our Senior trip in NYC. We all have concerns and, yes, are even anxious about the “unknowns”. Take some time to love on your kids no matter how young or old. Use this time to teach them an invaluable lesson on how to trade our fear and worry with God’s truth. God, Himself, promises peace and comfort when we give Him our fears. As your school family, will continue partnering with you and strive to make wise decisions knowing that God holds every one of our “unknowns” in His sovereign hand.

To help interrupt the Corona cycle of uncertainty, CCA administration has decided it will close school March 16-27.Should these dates need to be re-evaluated, you will receive additional communication from the school. All evening and sports events (including practices) will be postponed until further notice.

Families have been notified of the need to clean out lockers and desks. Students should have all textbooks and notebooks available at home in order to complete assignments. For those students who did not have a chance to pick up their materials, another opportunity will be provided on Monday, March 16 (8:00am -10:00am).

On Monday, March 23, teachers will attend training on our new virtual platform. Please be on the look out for more information to follow on how classes will continue for the next several weeks. There will be many decisions to make in the upcoming days. A plan is already being followed but is fluid so please be patient as we strive to continue to provide an outstanding education for our Eagles.

At this time, plan to enjoy spring break and stay healthy. Join us in asking God for wisdom and clarity in the future decisions for our students and school. CCA will continue to provide updates and information as needed.
