Your child, regardless of their age, could most likely tell you their favorite sport and their favorite athlete. They may even rattle off some stats for you! We recognize that sports are a big deal, and they are important to us here at Christ's Church Academy.
We believe in fostering the growth of the attributes and traits found in athletics: diligence, perserverance, discipline, teamwork, and respect for a competition well-contested. We also believe in the lessons to be learned in every victory and loss, and that any student deserves an opportunity to play. Most importantly, we believe we can succeed, regardless of the score, by teaching our student everything they learn is grounded in biblical principle and that they can bring God glory on the field of play.
CCA fields 26 teams which compete in 11 different sports. Annually, 75 percent of our 6th-12th grade students play at least one sport. The Class of 2018 saw 5 student-athletes move on to compete at the collegiate level. We owe these successes in great part to our coaching staff; they do a great job of teaching our athletes how to be successful in sports and in life. These lessons are invaluable.
