Mrs. Williams comes to CCA with over 25 years of teaching experience; from preschool to the college level, private and public school. She holds a BA in Elementary Education and MEd in Language Arts specializing in Reading and Writing from The University of Florida. Go GATORS!!!! Additionally, she is a certified Media Specialist and Gifted teacher. Books are her best friend, but she also loves LOUD worship music and cheering for all sports; especially football and early morning cross country races. Mrs. Williams loves to cook for others and travel – mostly to see her children. She has been married to her husband, Bob, since 1989 and they have 3 grown children; Caroline, Jacob, and Rachel who are either in college or graduate/medical school.
Mrs. Williams is excited to teach high school because she values the relationship she can form with teenagers and hopes that the love of Jesus is evident as they learn together. She wants students to become more critical readers and writers, but more importantly, to know that Jesus loves them unconditionally. Her favorite Bible passage is Ephesians 3: 17-21 which emphasizes how much Jesus loves us - more than we can imagine - and she wants her students to catch a glimpse of that infinite love before they leave her classroom.
