City Rescue Mission: CRM exists to transform the lives of the homeless and needy, serving them through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ. Minimum age:12

First Coast YMCA: There is no other volunteer organization quite like the Y. We are the nation’s leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Age 18 or younger must pick up application at your local YMCA.

Foster Closet: A free resource for foster parents and relatives, non-relative placements and Independent Living Teens to access clothing, children’s accessories, toys, furniture and more. It provides immediate assistance without complicated procedures. We rely on a vast network of volunteers & donors to access additional donations at a moment’s notice. Minimum age: 13

Jacksonville Humane Society: Children love animals, and at JHS, we love to see kids involved in our mission of saving homeless pets and showing compassion to pets and people in our community. We offer a wide variety of programs for children of all ages.

Mandarin Food Bank: Our mission is to provide food and clothing to those in need in the Mandarin community.

Museum of Science and History Teen Intern Program: MOSH’s Teen Intern Program is the perfect way for teenagers to earn community service hours to fulfill scholarship and school requirements while having a lot of fun! The program allows students to work directly with Museum educators to present dynamic educational programming.

Police Athletic League of South Jax: Volunteers are essential to helping JaxPAL extend its services and programs to more at-risk children. A small commitment in time can go a long way in the life of a child.

Special Olympics: The mission of Special Olympics Florida is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
