Christ-Centered Educational Excellence

Christ Church Academy’s Homeschool Athlete program is for students in 6th-12th grade that attend a school that does not offer the sport your child is interested in participating in, a co-op, or is homeschooled. CCA truly values the homeschool athletes in this program and considers them a part of the Eagle community. To apply to be a homeschool athlete for the 2024-2025 school year, please read through the steps of the process and then click the link below.

Please note, though it may seem unnecessary to have a homeschool athlete complete our admissions testing, the FHSAA requires that all traditional and non-traditional students go through the same application process.

Here is what the process looks like:

1. Complete online application and pay the non-refundable $170 application fee. Be prepared to provide two years of report cards and the contact information for a teacher, tutor, youth pastor or coach that knows your child. A recommendation form will be sent directly to them once you submit application and will be returned directly back to us.
2. Schedule admissions testing with the Director of Admissions, Peyton Clark.
3. Schedule a family interview with Athletic Director, Justin Sirmon.
4. CCA’s admissions committee meets to review applicant and decision is made regarding enrollment.
5. If offered enrollment in CCA's Homeschool Athlete Program, you will receive an email with directions on how to enroll.
6. Complete enrollment and pay $350 enrollment fee.
7. Create and submit all documents through your Athletic Clearance account. You will receive more information on this if offered enrollment in CCA’s HSA Program.

If you enroll as a homeschool athlete at CCA, the enrollment fee of $350 allows your student to participate or try out for any athletic program throughout the 2024-2025 school year. Each program also has a separate athletic fee to cover equipment, transportation and coaching costs. For middle school, this is $200 per sport. For JV or varsity teams, this cost is $250 per sport.

To participate in a CCA athletic program, your student must be fully enrolled as a homeschool athlete before tryouts for that sport.

Practice days and times vary depending on the sport. Please contact CCA’s Athletic Director, Justin Sirmon for more information about a specific program.

Once we receive your completed application, the admissions office will be in touch shortly after to schedule admissions testing and a meeting with Coach Sirmon. If you have any questions, please contact CCA’s Director of Admissions, Mrs. Peyton Clark at PClark@ccajax.org
